Amelia "Amy" Pond is a fictional character portrayed by Karen Gillan in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. Amy is a companion of the Eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith.

Amy first appears in the episode "The Eleventh Hour" (2010), where the Doctor crashes in her garden as a child in Leadworth, Scotland. He promises to return, but is delayed, returning 12 years later. She joins him as his companion on the TARDIS, embarking on adventures through time and space.
